Team of the Week 11!

Yes, the Team of the Week for December 7 – December 14 is announced and I’m lapping it all up and throwing coins and real cash at packs in the hope of finding an In Form card.
For those of you who haven’t seen the TOTW yet, here it is:

I’m mainly a fan of Brazilian and French/ Ligue 1 teams, so I’m after the silver RB, Alessandro, from Corinthians, Marcelo from Real Madrid, Roger from Cruzeiro, Roux from Stade Brestois and Diawara from Marseille.
Saying that, I wouldn’t complain if I found in form, 89-rated, Fabregas in a pack so I could sell him for around 600,000 coins!
Robert Snodgrass is another player you’ll hate to accidentally discard if you find him in a pack this week. The Scottish right winger from Leeds United is a 74-rated silver in-form, which makes him extremely sought after, plus l know there are plenty of die-hard Leeds United and Scotland fans playing FUT who will want Snodgrass and his incredible 80 shooting.
Left midfield was a problem area for Brazilian teams in Ultimate Team but now Roger has been moved on to the left flank, those with Brazilian squads in a 41212, 433 and 442 formation will have another five star skiller to use.
Overall, it’s an interesting TOTW but if you hope to make coins from finding one of these players, the players you should pray for are Fabregas, Snodgrass, Marcelo and Lavezzi.
On a separate and horrifying note, if you haven’t seen this YouTube video yet, you have to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_A1Fb6ioEE This video shows someone called ‘warrioreagle12345’ discarding SIF 97-rated Lionel Messis like they are non-rare bronze players. For every one of you who, like me, will probably never have three million coins to acquire SIF Messi, what this guy does is a crime.

The Ultimate Team Database

Have you ever wanted to price-check a player before buying or selling him? Well, thanks to jp flathead you can now do this easily. The Ultimate Team Database has been online for around 2 years now, although, there are many FIFA players that don’t know what this is.

What is The Ultimate Database?

The Ultimate Database, also known as UltimateDB, is, as it says, the ultimate database for FIFA Ultimate Team. On UltimateDB, you can find alot of FIFA Ultimate Team information, such as player costs and player information. We will get into the features below.

The Features

UltimateDB has alot of features, split into 7 categories; Xbox 360 Trading, PS3 Trading, Squad Creator, Player Database, Goalkeeper Database, Staff – Kits – Others and “The latest expensive transactions”.

• Xbox 360 Trading

This category is obviously for Xbox 360 users. It allows you to price-check FIFA players that are on the Xbox 360. This is good whenever you want to either buy or sell a player and you want to find out their approximate price.

• PlayStation 3 Trading

This is exactly the same thing as the Xbox 360 Trading category, but the only difference is that it is for Playstation consoles. It has all the features that Xbox 360 Trading has, so don’t worry about that.

• Squad Creator

Most of us FIFA Ultimate Team players like to create new teams every now and then, but it can sometimes be a challenge. If you are unsure about which players you want on your team, the squad creator allows you to search for players that will be good for your team. Microsoft Silverlight is required in order to be able to use this tool.

• Player Database

This category allows you to search for any player on FIFA and find out all of their information, such as nationality, current club, height, skills, overall rating and a lot more!

• Goalkeeper Database

Just like the player database, this category allows you to search for any goalkeeper and find out all of their information. No real difference between this and the player database.

• Staff, kits and others

This category allows you to find information on how much kits cost, how much staff costs and alot more, such as stadium prices as well as player formation and position prices. A really good and handy tool.

Where can I find it?

No problem, hombre! Finding the UltimateDB is a piece o’ cake, it can be found here UltimateDB.

5 Skilled and Cheap Brazilians for Ultimate Team!

Many of us who play FIFA Ultimate Team love playing with Brazilian players due to the fact that they most oftenly are both skilled and fast. I for one absolutely love playing with them. When I started FIFA, I didn’t have alot of coins (obviously), so starting a good team with a small amount of coins was a bit of a challenge for me. In this article I will be showing you 5 cheap and skilled Brazilian players that I would recommend buying, because I have played with them myself, and they are absolutely amazing!

Introduction

So, as I said above, alot of people absolutely love playing with Brazilian players. I am one of them. When I first started playing FIFA 12 I was looking for cheap, but good and skilled Brazilians that I could play with on my team in the beginning, before making all the “real” coins and buying proper players. In this article I will be showing you 5 of the players that I love playing with. Not only do they all have 5-star-skills, they are also indeed quite fast.
You are probably wondering, “Why only show us 5 players?”. Well, I am planning on posting more players again, soon. So don’t worry, I will show you more players in just a matter of time. Now let’s get started!

Lucas Rodrigues Silva

Overall Rating: 82
Position: CAM
Plays for: São Paulo, Brazil (Liga do Brasil)
Preferred Foot: Right
Skills: 5 Stars
Estimate Price: 2600 (Xbox 360), 2900 (PS3)
Lucas is an absolute beast. Trust me when I say this. He is only 19 years of age, but still a really good and skilled player. When I play with him, I feel completely free to do whatever I want. He is not limited to anything. His dribbling is awesome, his shooting is really good, he is really fast and his passing abilites are not too bad. This might not be the cheapest buy, but trust me, he is well worth the money!

Wallyson Maciel Monteiro

Overall Rating: 76
Position: CF
Plays for: Cruzeiro, Brazil (Liga do Brasil)
Preferred Foot: Right
Skills: 5 Stars
Estimate Price: 1000 (Xbox 360), 850 (PS3)
Wallyson is, for me, quite under-rated. What he can do on FIFA is just amazing, and deserves more than just a 76 overall rating. Anyways, just like Lucas, Wallyson is really fast and skilled. Do not look at the statistics too much. It says that his shooting is 69, although, when you play with him, you will notice that his shooting is really good.

Carlos Eduardo

Overall Rating: 81
Position: CAM
Plays for: Rubin Kazan, Russia (Russian League)
Preferred Foot: Left
Skills: 5 Stars
Estimate Price: 1000 (Xbox 360), 1000 (PS3)
Carlos, oh Carlos. This guy is a real beast! He has almost everything a complete CAM would need. Not only is he fast, not only is he a great dribbler, not only is he a good passer, he is also a beast at taking shots. 1000 coins for this guy is nothing. Depending on what formation you use, you could indeed use him together with Lucas.

Maicosuel Reginaldo de Matos

Overall Rating: 76
Position: CAM
Plays for: Botafogo, Brazil (Liga do Brasil)
Preferred Foot: Right
Skills: 5 Stars
Estimate Price: 400 (Xbox 360), 450 (PS3)
I am sure some of you have seen this guy score amazing goals on YouTube. And it’s no surprise, really. Maicosuel is a 5-star-skiller, very fast and has a really good right foot. You just have to get him, no matter what. Even better, he is really, really, cheap as well! He is totally worth that low amount of coins, and will definitely please you.

---

Rafael Sóbis

Overall Rating: 75
Position: ST
Plays for: Fluminese, Brazil (Liga do Brasil)
Preferred Foot: Right
Skills: 5 Stars
Estimate Price: 450 (Xbox 360), 450 (PS3)
Unfortunately I have not really played with Rafael Sobis too much, but when I have, he has been a really good player. I like him mostly because of his 5-star skills, but he is also fast and can easily outrun an opponent. His price has decreased during the lastest weeks, but around 450 coins for this guy is a bargain.
